Do you own an investment property?
Do you own your own home?
Are you renting your home ?
Do you know about the new Minimum Standards Of Living and how this relates to mould in the property?
The property must be structurally sound and weatherproof. The property must be free from mould caused by, or related to, the building structure.
What to do?
Request a Healthy Home Inspection and Air Sampling.
What to expect with a Healthy Home Inspection?
- Inspect for history of water intrusion
- Moisture inspection with moisture meter readings and thermal imaging
- Investigation of any coverups (painting over mould)
- Indoor air quality testing – mould sampling taken inside or outside of the building
An air sample will show you clear data on what mould in the home is caused by or related to environmental factors Vs mould in the home that is caused by or related to building damage (moisture damage)
This is the fastest and most affordable way to getting clear data. This data is helpful to tenants, owners, real estate agents, trades people and insurance companies.
