I am Sally.
In a past era I was a nutritionist and in this new era an indoor air quality consultant.
How did I get here?
In 2020 I was looking for a lifestyle business that would support me being a solo mother to two kids. I wanted this business to be in the health industry and some past mental wellness clients had asked me to investigate more into mould.
I was soon introduced to an American technique for non toxic mould removal and decided to head down the road of mould inspection, indoor air quality testing, building inspection, water damage restoration.
After some intensive training and a high quality mentorship from a building biologist/builder/ remediator, the 2021-22 Southern Queensland Floods hit. I was exposed to hundreds of buildings that needed care and solutions.
As I made my way into the industry (outside of insurance jobs) began attracting Mothers who were all saying the same thing.
“I’m not sure if this sounds crazy” …..these women felt that something was not right in their home. The kids were experiencing long term health problems, she was feeling unwell and she was 100% convinced that we needed to investigate & test for mould contamination.
In 90 % of cases she was absolutely right! I was then taking these women on a journey on how to understand their environment, how to manage environmental mould and how to react to water damage or building damage.
This information was often the missing piece to mental wellness and unexplained immune challenges.
It brings me so much joy to offer cost effective clear information about the air quality in your home.
The information gathered while inspecting a property becomes a great communication tool and accountability tool that is helpful for the homeowner, real estate agent, tenant and trades people caring for the property.
The “Healthy Home Principles” I teach incorporates all the experience I now have in mould growth, sampling techniques and remediation practices,
I look forward to sharing this with families who want a safe, healthy and empowered home environment.
Thanks for following along!
